1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Alignfolio, we may collect:

• -Your email address and account authentication information
• -Portfolio information that you choose to enter, including holdings, account labels, asset classifications, values and target allocations
• -Subscription and payment-status information
• -Communications that you send to us
• -Technical information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser or device type, authentication events and server logs

Payment-card information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored directly by Alignfolio.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• -Provide, maintain and secure Alignfolio
• -Authenticate users and manage accounts
• -Save and display user-created portfolios
• -Provide portfolio calculations and monitoring features
• -Process and manage subscriptions
• -Respond to support requests and other communications
• -Diagnose technical problems and improve the service
• -Prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized access
• -Meet legal and regulatory obligations

3. Mobile App Guest Mode

The current version of the Alignfolio mobile app operates in Guest Mode and does not require an Alignfolio account. The app does not display advertising and does not sell personal information.

Portfolio information entered in Guest Mode is stored locally on your device. Alignfolio does not upload that guest portfolio information to Alignfolio's account database or synchronize it with the Alignfolio website.

Guest data may be lost if the application is uninstalled, the application's storage is cleared, or the device is lost or replaced.

You can remove locally stored guest data through the app's Clear Guest Data function or by uninstalling the app.

The mobile app may provide links that open the Alignfolio website in your browser. Information entered after leaving the app is governed by the website portions of this Privacy Policy.

4. Service Providers and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose limited information to service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as:

• -Website hosting and infrastructure
• -Database hosting and authentication
• -Payment processing
• -Transactional or service-related email delivery
• -Security, error detection and technical support

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to Alignfolio and according to their applicable contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, protect the security of Alignfolio, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the rights and safety of users or others.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

Access to account information is restricted through authentication, authorization and database-security controls. Authorized personnel or service providers may access information only when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain or support the service.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Account information and user-provided portfolio data are generally retained while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service.

You may request access to or deletion of your account information and portfolio data by contacting info@alignfolio.com.

After a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize the relevant information within a reasonable period, except where limited retention is reasonably necessary for legal obligations, payment and tax records, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or enforcement of agreements.

Guest portfolio information stored locally in the mobile app can be deleted through the Clear Guest Data function or by uninstalling the app.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Alignfolio website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, session management and operation of the service.

If Alignfolio introduces optional analytics or advertising technologies, this Privacy Policy and any required consent mechanisms will be updated before those technologies are used.

8. Children's Privacy

Alignfolio is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the minimum legal age required to independently consent to the processing of personal information in their jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the mobile app.

9. International Processing

Our service providers may process or store information in countries other than your country of residence. Information processed in another country may be subject to that country's laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, mobile application or data-handling practices change.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service where appropriate.
